TEBE not loading

Hi
I have donloaded the latest version of TEBE and renamed it as .xpi.
I have Windows 7 64bit and Thunderbird 3.14.
TEBE will not install into Thunderbird. Please advise.

Please tell me exactly how you are attempting to install TEBE. Are you getting any error messages in the error console (Tools > Error Console)?

Thanks for the reply.
I have downloaded the latest version of TEBE from the website. Found the ZIP file and renamed it with .xpi.
Then opened Thunderbird, gone to tools, add-ons, install. I found the file and installed it. Thunderbird wanted to restart, so did.
And nothing. TEBE is not installed, no mention of it in tools or add-ons.
Went to tools, error console but no mention of it.
Point of interest - after renaming the original ZIP file it now contains the extension .xpi.zip

That's probably the reason it won't install. Make sure the add-on has the xpi extension before installing, something like TEBE.xpi.

Hi Chuck
Have now used WinZip to create .xpi file with no .zip extension.
Everything seems to be working fine.
