Hi Chuck, I'm here. My suggestion is add only en-US locale, and in the topic inform future translators that this extension is very similar with FEBE and they can check FEBE translation to facilitate the work.

Hi! How can I export the TEBE preferences? I found the section Advanced => Tools => Export TEBE Preferences but it's not obvious to me how to actually initiate an export of the preferences?

When performing a Backup with "Both" selected, it runs, it does a full backup, but it never returns the completed / backup successful message

I had to manually abort the operation.

I've yet to test the restoration of the full profile, but individual files (extension, skins, addresses, etc) restoration, and mail box restoration works fine

Here is what happens........

When you initiate a backup the backup proceeds as normal and the progress window pops up (I have it set to show this). The back-up then gets stuck with this window up. The message in the window states that it is preparing the results page. It does this indefinitely. You then have to manually shut down the window to stop the process. You then get a message by the Windows task bar stating that the back-up was aborted.

If I then check the destination folder where the back-up was suppose to go, most or all of it appears to be there. Since I am not sure whether the back-up completed, I cannot be sure if everything was backed up. Either way, the back-up process never completes as far as the progress window closing. It never completes generating the results page.

Jay, What platform are you running? On Linux (and possibly OS X) the play sound xpcom component does not work. If you disable sounds (TEBE Options > Advanced > Sounds) the routine is skipped and the backup should complete.

Thanks Chuck, that's interesting and unexpected from a "cross-platform" system. Not nice!

I hadn't looked at it on Linux so I fired up my Ubuntu VM and did some testing. It does indeed complain about nsiSound and it does work when you disable the "play sounds" option. That should be taken care of internally so I'll do that and I'll look at one or two other things I noticed when I can, too.

Hello Chuck:

I am using ThunderBird 12.0.1 and Windows 7 64 Bit. I disabled the sound and tried to perform another backup. Same thing happens as stated above. Progess window hangs continuously with the message preparing the Results Page.
