FEBE has hijacked my browser, how can i remove it?

Postby ashtreylil » Fri Aug 09, 2013 10:13 pm

febe has taken control of my browser profile and i cant get it off. i cant find the folder in the extensions folder or the profile folder and every time i try to manually paste my profile folder back in it deletes almost all of my extensions and scripts on startup. i've even tried to reset firefox and it still does the same thing. how can i just get rid of this thing? i had no idea it would be this much hassle when i searched for a way to synch all of my firefox profile.

FEBE does not "take control" of your browser profile. It will back up your Firefox profile and restore it to the way it was before the backup. It does not add things that were not there before, nor does it remove any extensions or scripts.

If you do not understand how to use FEBE, it would be best if you uninstall it. It can be removed just as any other Firefox extension through Tools > Addons > Extensions > Remove.
