There are a couple of things to try. First, check PEP Options > Advanced > Data storage options and make sure that either 'Local' or 'Chrome server' is selected. Try saving pastetext items both ways. If there is too much data to store on the server, use the local option.

The other thing to do is "Reset PEP data" in the advanced options. As PEP is being developed, new variables are added and they may need to be initialized. The reset will do that.

I am working on the next beta release now. It should be ready in a couple of days. When ready, I'll attach it to a post in this forum. Please update then and let me know if the problem continues.

One other thing. Are you getting any error in the error console? Pres F12 while PEP options is open. A window should appear on the bottom of the screen. Make sure the "Console" tab at the top of that window is selected. If errors are listed, you can copy/paste them into your reply (right-click in the console window and click "Select All" then "Copy").

I was able to get it to work on a few google pages but not gmail compose window where 99% of my use is with paste text. was not able to get it to paste in text into subject line of compose email window or body of email compose. could get the menu to come up and I could see the item I wanted to paste but no go on the pasting itself. I know you mentioned issues with gmail but for me like I said thats were I need it

Nevermind. I fixed it. Checked whitelist all pages and that seemed to fix it. So for now its working on win 10 and chrome 58.0. So now I will start adding paste texts from firefox one by one. I wish i could import pep file from firefox. thats a lot of work to do manually

Ill keep playing with this. I really wish google would do thins useful like this instead of the stupid stuff they do. Then firefox blew up its extensions and killed hangouts and google voice calls in my browser forcing me to go to chrome and for a host of other issues

I've done some more work with the whitelisting functionality. See if this new version works.

Also please check the error console for errors as mentioned above.

I will be adding the ability to import pastetext from Firefox, but it will be a few days before it's ready.

I've added the ability to import PEP data from Firefox and added a "Add current page to whitelist" button on the PEP toolbar icon. Some other small issues were fixed also.

After installing this version, please perform a soft reset under PEP options > Advanced > Reset PEP data > Perform a SOFT reset. This clears some unused items in storage.

Is the page you are trying to paste into whitelisted? You may want to whitelist all pages just to make sure PEP is working. Go to Paste Email Plus Options > Options and check Whitelist all pages.

If that does not work, see if any errors are occurring. On the page you are trying to paste, press the F12 function key. This will open the error console. Make sure "Console" is underlined on the top bar of the console window. If any errors appear, please copy/paste them in this thread. (Right-click on an error line and select 'Copy').

Could you also give me the URL of the page you were pasting into? I'd like to see if I can duplicate it on my end.
