FEBE launches unscheduled "scheduled backup"

FEBE 10.4, PM 28.3, Win 7.

It's Sunday. I have a big meeting this afternoon. I have a lot of work to do in prep for that meeting.

Ordinarily, I run a scheduled FEBE backup every Sunday at 8 AM. But whenever FEBE runs a backup, my computer is rendered more or less useless for at least a half hour. Anticipating this, I set FEBE to no scheduled backups. Yet promptly at 8 am, FEBE began running this unscheduled, scheduled backup, and that is why it's taking me more than 10 minutes just to post this message. How can I regain control of FEBE, so that this never happens again?

I was able to duplicate this in Pale Moon using FEBE v10.4. Looks like something is broken and I'll have to investigate more. Nobody reported this problem with Fx, so it's probably something related to PM.

I'm curious that your backup takes 30 minutes or more to backup. Mine only takes a few seconds. You must have a lot of browser history stored. How big is your full profile backup file? Mine is around 250mb and still only takes about 15 seconds or less.

Until I get a fix, if you need to skip a backup on a particular day you could temporarily set the scheduled backup to some time later in the week.

My profile is about 77 MB, larger than yours but not large enough to account for the time. The time is all taken producing the bookmark backups, which we've discussed in a previous thread here viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5190 and extensively in this PM forum thread https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20754. Apparently, the tools for accessing PM/Fx bookmarks are incredibly clumsy and/or slow.

Anyway, my intent here was to inquire about the scheduling bug, nothing more.
