The easiest way to get bookmarks.html from bookmarks.json is to simply restore the .json file in Firefox and use Bookmarks > Import and backup > Export HTML.

Agreed, LONG LIVE CHUCK!

One request for FEBE. Please let me do a backup from the status bar icon. Right now it pops up with 'No backup scheduled'.

Also, please let me start a backup from the backup reminder popup.

Digging through the menus to find what I'm looking for keeps me from backing up as often as I should.

Thanks for all your hard work on a very useful extension!

Good idea! I'll include it in the next update (FEBE 6.1beta3).

Also, please let me start a backup from the backup reminder popup.

This functionality is already there. The backup reminder screen has an option to backup now.

Chuck - Live Long and Prosper...

Wonderful extension. I learned of it too late for my first mishap, but will be using it going forward.

From my standpoint, I'd like to be able to choose which Box.net directory is used for backup. I looked for this in the Options and didn't see it.

I use FF both at home and at work and have extensive bookmarks and setup files unique to each. I'd like to be able to place the backups into different directories on Box.net to keep the separated.

I am also interested in the Thunderbird TEBE, since that too had to be rebuilt this last time around... painfully.

Thank you,
epartsman

Wow .... I always get so many complements in this thread ... it's embarrassing

You bring up a good point. You should be able to define the folder name in Box.net. I'll put it on the todo list for the next update.

Thanks!
Chuck
