project timer?

project timer?

How about a Firefox extension that will let me keep track of time spent working on various projects for my clients? I would definitely need a timer start/stop function. Perhaps something like a *really* scaled-down version of this full-blown program:

Or if anyone knows of one that already exists, it would be much appreciated.

I realize this has nothing to do w/ web browsing - but with all the neat extensions available, you can almost use Firefox as a default "workspace"!

I know of four possible solution for you. All are free, but one is Windows only (if that is a criteria).

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the great suggestions, Alex.

I'm really looking to use a local app vs. Web-based, so the last link (TimerTool) looks like my best bet. I'm also gonna d/l TimeTracker & give it a try. I've been using a 30-day trial of "AllNetic Timetracker", which works great but is a little too complicated for my needs.

I was initially hoping to find a Firefox extension for time tracking, but I suppose once I find the right app, I can make it almost work like a FF extension by using the External Applications Buttons extension to add a toolbar button to Firefox.

thanks again,
