FEBE and CLEO are very useful extensions. I miss them. Are there any plans to make them compatible with Firefox 71 and Firefox 72?
Also, any plans to update TEBE for Thunderbird 68? I'd really like to back up both my Firefox and Thunderbird extensions and themes.

I'm sorry, but no.
FEBE/CLEO/TEBE are written with the now deprecated XPCOM/XUL apis and cannot be ported to the WebExtenions platform. FEBE requires deep access to Firefox internal files (bookmarks, passwords, history, etc.) and WebExtensions simply does not (nor ever will, apparently) offer the needed apis. FEBE/CLEO only work with Fx v56.0.2 and below as well as the Pale Moon browser.
TEBE, however, still works with Thunderbird - at least with the version I am using (v52.0). Have you tried using it with Tb v68?
