Backup considerably smaller than original profile

I have been using TEBE successfully (so I think, anyway) and really appreciate the program. I just had a major meltdown and as a result ending up losing all TB data for a ten day period so I am a bit paranoid... As a result I have been backing up two or three times a day…

For example, todays results:

Original profile is 9.10 GB.

TEBE backup is 5.49 GB.

The TEBE backup file is nearly 4 GB smaller than the original. Is this normal? I have selected “Full Profile” backup.

Any input would be appreciated. I am doing a manual backup of my profile nightly to make sure….

The TEBE full profile backups are compressed .zip archives, but to go from over 9GB to just 162KB sounds very suspicious. Try opening one of the backup files (renaming the .tbu to .zip if necessary) and comparing them to your profile files.

My Tb profile is 164MB in size and the backup is about 98MB.
