I've forgotten how to get OPIE to run

Postby JayUSA » Wed Jun 28, 2017 12:17 pm

Hello,

I installed OPIE two weeks ago, and it successfully saved my Firefox extension preferences at that time. Now I'd like to re-save my extension preferences, but I don't see how to do that. If I click on Tools > OPIE, it opens the OPIE preferences dialog box, but there is no "run now" option or similar in that dialog box. If I look in the destination/export folder there are no new backups of my extension preferences. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Are you using OPIE or OPIE2? OPIE2 is the more advanced version and has more functionality than OPIE.

Click Tools > OPIE2 to open it. In the OPIE2 dialog box, select the "Export" tab. Then click "Get list", select the extensions you want and click "Export" button.
