OPIE2 on Pale Moon 28 issues?

Postby BackerUpper » Tue Mar 26, 2019 12:20 pm

Hello Chuck, I'm trying OPIE2 on PM 28.4.0 even though compatibility is up to v27 on the Pale Moon Add-ons Site.

It seems to work fine, however there's a visual glitch on the Configure page:

Also on the same tab, when pressing the "Select extension" button, the pop-up list only lists my A-K extensions and I think the rest (L-Z) are hidden and cannot be selected since there's no scrollbar.

I re-initialized the preferences and now all extensions appear normally (and can be scrolled).

The visual glitch remains but it's just that, and doesn't interfere with OPIE2's operation.

Yes, it appears that PM's API that displays column headers adds that horizontal bar (Fx does not). Although it looks kind of funky, it is still functional.

After using it for a while, everything works great. I'll only add a couple of remarks/requests.

1. When importing OPIE2's own exported preference file, the previous state isn't really imported because I get the "No preferences have been assigned yet" message. I then have to initialize it and manually configure extensions all over again (the ones that need configuring, that is).

2. It would be nice to have an option to remove the "Backup Utilities..." entry from the Pale Moon button menu (when the Menu Bar is hidden) . I'm guessing this is a Firefox remnant, too.

Hm, looks like this data is in OPIE2data.json. I'll add it to FEBE. :)
