SeaMonkey woes

Postby gracious1 » Sun Aug 04, 2019 11:21 pm

Hello, I was wondering if we could revisit the idea of FEBE for SeaMonkey

On addons.thunderbird.net , there was a nice collection of personas (lightweight themes) for SeaMonkey... until now. Tonight I went to /https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/seamonkey/themes/ — and all the personas appear to have been purged. I checked the Internet Archive, and only a couple of pages have been preserved.

So, on Pale Moon I have been backing up my persons, but I cannot install them into SeaMonkey, because it requires FEBE; SeaMonkey's Add-on Manager will not read the JSON files.

So, if there is any way I could persuade you to port FEBE to SeaMonkey, I would be so grateful.

Someone else ('therube') ported FEBE to SM several years ago. I'm not sure how well it works, but you may want to try restoring your personas with it.

It can be found here: http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#febe
